CHRIST (Deemed to be University) is extending the provision of a fourth-year Honours and Honours with Research option across various undergraduate disciplines starting from the academic year 2026-27, in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Honours: Minimum 60% aggregate in completed semesters with no backlogs at the time of application.
• Honours with Research: Minimum 75% aggregate in completed semesters with no backlogs at the time of application.
• Students enrolled in double major programmes can choose either discipline for their Honours track.
• A minimum of 30 eligible and interested students per discipline is required for the programme to be offered.

Important Points to Note:

• Students opting for the fourth-year programme will not be eligible for third-year campus placements.
• Fee details for the fourth year will be announced after survey analysis.
• The Campus in which the Honours and Honours with Research programmes will be offered will be decided by the University, based on the faculty and infrastructure availability.
